Globalization is the process by which the world is becoming increasingly interconnected through massive increases in trade and cultural exchange. There are several factors which have led to the growth of globalization including, improvements in transportation, the removal of trade barriers, improvements in communications and the availability of inexpensive labour. Undeniably globalization is having a dramatic effect on the globe, although there is considerable debate about whether this effect is for good or ill.
