The RDP Campus Wellness Advocate program provides student with volunteer opportunities surrounding mental health and wellness promotion. This program provides individuals with opportunities to gain knowledge, enhance skills, build relationships, and add meaningful experience to their applied career development expertise. Roles as a Campus Wellness Ambassador will be dedicated to wellness prevention and promotion, such as pop-ups, activities, events, workshops, and peer support facilitation.

• Able to commit to a specific number of hours per semester

The Campus Wellness Advocate Program training consists of three levels:  

In order to advance through tiers of the Campus Wellness Advocate Program, you must have attended Red Deer Polytechnic for the specified number of semesters (Fall & Winter only) and completed the specified training prior to advancing. Within each tier, there is a description of the roles that can be expected. If you do not complete additional requirements to advance tiers, you will remain in the beginner tier.
