“The War to End All Wars”

Rationale: The goal of this activity is to allow students to explore the ways in which nationalism and the pursuit of national interest were reflected in various aspects of the warfare and diplomacy which characterized WWI. Consider in the context of “total war” and “national self-interest.”
Procedure: Students may do this project individually or in a partnership of two.
