Set 10 years after the zombie apocalypse Max Brooks "interviews" survivors from around the world recording their stories which describes what caused the zombies outbreak, how it spread, and how to effectively fight them. Written as a historical overview of events the book is similar to a collection of short stories which allows an exhaustible overview of zombie incidents from isolated attacks to full-scale military combat.
