English Language Support

Our staff will visit your class to present on various topics, including:

• a brief orientation to the services available to help students succeed academically; includes information on the Library, Tutoring, Learning Skills, and Accessibility Services (10 minutes)
• a brief orientation to one of the Tutoring services (5-10 minutes)

If you feel a student would benefit from English Language Support, direct the student to book an appointment. 

English Language Support can help students learn to:

• read course material,
• determine what an assignment is asking
• plan and write an essay outline
• revise and edit assignments
• prepare for presentations

English Language Support also offers general grammar instruction, vocabulary development, and conversation/pronunciation.
