Class visits are short (10-minute) presentations about support services for students.

Our staff will visit your class to provide a brief orientation to the services available to help students succeed academically, including information on the Library, Tutoring, Learning Skills, Writing Skills, Accessibility Services, and International Student Supports.

If you feel a student would benefit from English Language Support, direct the student to book an appointment. 

The English Language Support Tutor offers free individual tutoring for English Language Learners enrolled in any Red Deer Polytechnic class or program, and can help with:

• Reading and understanding course materials
• Using proper grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation
• Effectively revising and editing written work
• Improving conversation and speaking skills
