After you login to Brightspace, you'll be taken to the Brightspace Home page.
Here you'll see:
- Top Navigation
- Home Navigation
The top navigation will remain at the top of Brightspace, even after you enter a course.
When you enter a course, the Home Navigation will change to a Course Navigation.
What's in the top navigation?
From the top navigation, you can do several things:
- select a course - use the waffle or grid icon at any time to access your enrolled courses
- message alerts - notifications on unread mail and instant messages received from your instructor or other Brightspace users
- subscription alerts - notifications on unread posts in the discussion forums, topics, and threads you are subscribed to
- update alerts - notifications about new announcements, upcoming important dates, and grades.
- user profile - access to your personal settings, where you can manage your profile, change notification settings, and logout
