Students taking credit or skilled trades courses at Red Deer Polytechnic (i.e. all students EXCEPT Continuing Education and Corporate Training) will automatically have access to their Brightspace courses from the first day of classes.

If MyRDP is unavailable, log in to Brightspace directly at https://rdp.brightspace.com

• Click on the Log in With RDP Credentials button
• Use your RDP email address and password

Log out of Brightspace

Use the "Log Out" button at the bottom of the account dropdown.

Internet Connection

It is important to have a reliable Internet connection and enough bandwidth to watch videos and participate in classes. RDP recommends a 5.0 Mbps or higher Internet connection for online learning.

Equipment

For a smooth learning experience, you should have the following equipment:

• a headset (or a microphone and speakers)
• a webcam may also be needed for courses with Live Classroom or exams requiring Respondus Monitor
