From the Brightspace home page, find your courses by either:

• clicking on the Select a course... waffle/grid icon in the top navigation
• looking in the My Courses widget

Only some courses are using Brightspace for Winter 2026 term. Check the list in MyRDP to see if your course will be delivered through Brightspace or Blackboard. If you are still unsure, contact your instructor.

At the Start of Term

Courses will not appear in Brightspace until the first day of classes; you cannot access your courses ahead of time.

A course may not appear for the following reasons, even after term has started:

• Course is not open (your instructor has not made the course available students)
• You have been removed from the course by the Registrar (TIP: check with the Registrar to confirm you are enrolled in the course and haven't been removed for non-payment: email admissions@rdpolytech.ca)
• Course is delivered through Blackboard
• Course is delivered through Continuing Education and Corporate Training

At the End of Term

After the course is over, you will no longer have access to your course in Brightspace.

If you wish to save course materials for future use, do so before the course ends.
