Numbers in parentheses refer to specific chapters and sections in The Chicago Manual (18th ed.) 

General Format

Full Note

1. Author First Name Surname, "Article Title," Journal Title Volume, no. Issue (Year): page #, DOI OR URL of journal article web page.

Shortened Note

2. Author Surname, "Article Title," page #.

Bibliography

Author Surname, First Name. "Article Title." Journal Title Volume, no. Issue (Year): Page range of article. DOI OR URL of journal article web page.

Full Note

If you view a magazine article online, include the URL of the article's web page in your reference (14.87).
If a suitable URL is not available for an online magazine, include the name of the database (14.87).
