Chicago Citation Style 18th Edition

This guide will help you cite sources in Chicago Citation Style 18th Edition.
   

Legislation

Chicago Citation Style has some guidance on citing Canadian legal sources; however, the Canadian Guide to Uniform Legal Citation (10th ed.), commonly known as "The McGill Guide," is the Canadian standard. Location: KF 259 C212 2023 (Reserve & Main Collection).

Common abbreviations: 

  • RSA = Revised Statutes of Alberta
  • RSC = Revised Statutes of Canada
  • SC = Statutes of Canada
  • c = Chapter
  • s = Section
