Counselling Services

Counselling services and supports are inclusive, confidential, and available to all Red Deer Polytechnic students free of charge.

We Are Here to Support You

Red Deer Polytechnic's Counselling Services team wants to take a moment to acknowledge the delicate, yet complicated nature of the conflict taking place in the Middle East. We also want to recognize that, for all who are involved regardless of the extent, this crisis has had a significant impact on the mental health of some of our very own RDP community members. Because of this, we want you to know that we are here to provide support, as well as compassion, respect, and empathy, for anyone who might be affected by this crisis. We recognize the importance of working together to create a space of safety, security, and well-being, and our team is dedicated to fostering this space regardless of diverse viewpoints. Please note that, in addition to Counselling Services, there are various other campus and community supports accessible to provide additional assistance; we encourage anyone who made need it to use them. You can view a list of other campus and community supports and resources on the Red Deer Polytechnic's Counselling Services guide. If you are hoping to connect with Counselling Services, please stop into room 1402 so we can help you get the process started by seeing one of our Intake Coordinators. For any other support, please do not hesitate to drop in and speak with one of our team members. We are here for you!
