Free writing skills tutoring for RDP students. Writing Tutors provide personalized help with your academic writing, including:

• Essay organization and structure
• Research and planning
• Developing a strong thesis statement
• Grammar and punctuation
• Any other issues related to writing

ESL Tutoring

Free tutoring for RDP students learning English as an additional language. The ESL Tutor focuses on building academic language proficiency for English language learners. Sessions include a mix of grammar instruction, vocabulary development, and conversation/pronunciation.

Peer Tutoring

Students can find a tutor to help with specific courses. This service is coordinated by the Students' Association of RDP, through a partnership with Nimbus Learning.

Learning Skills and Strategies

Learning strategies are ways to understand, remember, and apply the knowledge you learn. Learning Strategists can help you with:

• Study strategies (learn effective ways to study and improve concentration)
• Time management (create and follow a schedule, plan for studying and assignments)
• Note taking and reading skills (take useful notes and read textbooks effectively)
• Exam preparation (learn how to plan and prepare for your exams and help reduce anxiety)
